Microbiological phosphate recovery
A module that recovers phosphates from untreated sludge and bolts onto an existing plant.
A different route to the same goal. Instead of taking phosphorus out of the ash after incineration, it is recovered microbiologically from the raw sludge.
Why it is interesting
- It does not require the plant to go through drying and incineration first, so it also applies where no thermal step is planned.
- It can be added to an operating plant without rebuilding the whole process line.
