A tank is not simply a drum of a given volume. It is part of a process system, designed around what will sit inside it, what loads it, and how it will be serviced.
What drives the design
- The medium inside — aggressiveness, temperature, pressure, sludge or abrasive content.
- The loading — static from the contents and dynamic from mixers, pumps and vibration.
- How it is serviced — where you enter for inspection, where it is cleaned, where wear parts are replaced.
- The vessel's place in the overall process chain and its connections to the rest of the equipment.
The advantage of two directions
- We build the steel for treatment plants and at the same time understand the process inside it. We know what sludge does to metal, where it settles, where odour escapes, and where the weld cracks after two years.
- So we ask about things a pure tank fabricator does not ask. The answers show up in the structure.
